We moved all wipes to Thursday at 14:00 UTC. Two servers used to wipe on different days, which split the community across the week. Now everyone starts fresh at the same time.
What changed
- EU Main wipes every two weeks.
- EU Solo wipes every two weeks, on the same day as Main.
- EU Duo keeps its weekly cycle.
- EU Build stays on a four week cycle, because long term projects need time.
Blueprints are wiped together with the map on Main and Solo. On Build we keep blueprints between wipes.
Why we did it
Most of you play on more than one server. A shared wipe day means you can plan the evening once instead of tracking four calendars. It also lets us run the map generation and the mod updates in a single maintenance window, so downtime is shorter.
